Looking for work?
In between jobs? Need casual work?
Full time? Only around a short time?

SMART Hospitality has work in the Albury Wodonga region and beyond for chefs, cooks, canteen assistants, kitchen hands, wait staff and bar attendants.

SMART Hospitality only recruits skilled and practiced hospitality personnel. SMART scrutinises skills, presentation and attitude, as well as references.

As a SMART employee, you will be assigned a variety of work to suit your skills and availability. We have temp, casual and full time opportunities. You must be registered with us to be offered work.

Because some of the work is ‘on call’ or ‘last minute’ SMART understands that you may not always be available. SMART is flexible and tries to ‘fit in’ with family, study and ‘other work’ commitments. SMART also matches staff to full time positions.

So if you are looking for top up work, a few casual shifts or full time work, contact SMART Hospitality.

TRAVELLING CHEFS
If you are a qualified, experienced and passionate Chef and wandering around the countryside, SMART Hospitality may be able to organise some short term work in one of the many restaurants in the region.

Overseas Chefs
Are required to have a valid working visa. Bring a copy of your qualifications, a current CV, as well as some checkable references (preferably email contacts). Contact us when you are planning your trip!

Check out the REGIONAL LINKS page for what is around the Albury Wodonga area.

(Don't forget to pack your uniform and knives).

TO REGISTER.....
You must be over 18 years or over to work with SMART Hospitality.

Firstly, phone or email SMART Hospitality outlining your experience. SMART may then invite you for a face to face interview.

All applicants must demonstrate experience and knowledge in their field and be able to supply a current CV with checkable references, copies of relevant qualifications and certificates and complete the SMART application process which involves a skills test, presentation assessment and completion of forms. There is no guarantee of casual work.

Interviews are by appointment only.

SMART HINTS FOR ANY JOB INTERVIEW
•  If you leave a phone message and you do not get a response, call back. Sometimes phone numbers are not recorded and messages are often muffled. Email gets lost too. So call back! It shows initiative
•  When creating your CV, save the name of your file as your first and last name. Use a generic font, no fancy ones.
• Don't get your mum or partner to enquire about work for you, make the call yourself
• An interview with a job agency is a real job interview - dress accordingly and don't bring your partner to sit in on the - interview with you. If you need to bring children or you need some assistance, just ask the interviewer if it's OK if they attend
• Turn your mobile phone off
• If you are running late, are sick or unable to make an interview, phone to say so. If you simply do not turn up without any communication at all, it will not make a good first impression
• Ask questions if you don't understand anything
